Our Fiscal Year

Island Heritage Trust’s fiscal year runs from November 1 through October 31.
This timeline aligns with our program seasons and allows us to measure the impact of annual contributions, grants, and membership renewals across a full cycle of community and conservation work.

Gifts received or postmarked by October 31 are counted toward that fiscal year’s fundraising goals. Contributions made after that date help launch the next year of caring for the land and community.

IHT’s Annual Report is also based on our fiscal year, summarizing the achievements, financials, and community support that define each November–October cycle.
